This app is a private tool used by BalconyBlooms, a Pinterest business account focused on balcony and container gardening content. Its only function is to connect to the BalconyBlooms Pinterest account, via Pinterest's official OAuth flow, in order to schedule and publish pins through the Pinterest API.
The app does not operate a website open to the public. It does not serve end users. It does not collect, store, or process personal data from people who view BalconyBlooms pins or who visit Pinterest.
The app accesses the following, and nothing else:
No other Pinterest accounts are accessed. No data is accessed from users who engage with BalconyBlooms pins (saves, clicks, impressions). Pinterest's own platform handles all viewer data under Pinterest's privacy policy.
Access is granted through Pinterest's standard OAuth 2.0 authorization flow. The account owner (Daniel Burrow) initiates and approves this authorization manually.
OAuth tokens are stored in a private, access-controlled environment. They are not shared with third parties, not logged to public systems, and not stored in any database accessible over the internet. Tokens are used only to authenticate API calls to the BalconyBlooms Pinterest account. Tokens can be revoked at any time through the Pinterest app settings panel under "Connected apps."
To be explicit about what this app does not do:
BalconyBlooms participates in the Amazon Associates Program (Canada). Some pins link to Amazon.ca product pages using an affiliate tag (balconybloo05-20). When a viewer clicks an affiliate link and makes a qualifying purchase, BalconyBlooms may earn a small commission at no extra cost to the viewer.
All affiliate pins include the disclosure statement: "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases." Affiliate pins are also labeled #ad in the pin description, in compliance with FTC guidelines and Amazon Associates Program policies. No price claims are made. All links are full, unshortened Amazon.ca URLs.

This app is operated for internal business purposes only and does not collect personal information from members of the public. Accordingly, PIPEDA (the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act) applies in principle, and this privacy policy is written to be consistent with it.
